About NAAC

National Assessment and Accreditation Council(NAAC) was established in 1994 as an autonomous institution of the University Gants Commission(UGC) with its Head Quarter in Bangaluru The vision statement of NAAC reflects its mandate in making quality assurance an integral part of the functioning of Higher Education Institutions(HEIs). The present Chairman of the executive committee of NAAC is an educationist and research scientist Professor Bhushan Patwardhan. The NAAC has been set up to facilitate the institutions to assess their performance both in terms of quality as well as quantity, institutions to know its strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities through an informed review process.

Rajkiya Mahila Mahavidyalaya got its first cycle accreditation in the year March,2016 with ‘B’ grade. Since then the college is performing well and trying to achieve all round development in academics as well as co – curricular and extracurricular activities along with skill development . In July,2021 the college has been shifted in its own new campus near Gaighat. In its green and sprawling campus, the college will scale new heights with new hope.
